Downloadable Course

  • What is a Downloadable Course?

Downloadable Courses are recorded audio and video programs in a downloadable file (MP3 format for audio or MP4 format for video). They can be downloaded to your computer, tablet, smart phone or MP3 player. Course reference materials are included with course purchases in a PDF format. Downloadable courses can be purchased for immediate access. There are no shipping fees or waiting for your shipment to arrive.

  • How do I know if a specific title is available in a Downloadable Course format?

A Downloadable Course icon will be listed on the search results and product details pages for each title that is available in this format. Browse a list of available Downloadable Courses.

  • What are my payment options?

Credit Card payment is required for immediate access to Downloadable Courses. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Orders paid by Check or a Purchase Order will be placed in a hold status, pending payment. You will be notified via email of product access once payment is received. Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-930-6182 with any questions.

  • Can I order a Downloadable Course for someone else?

Yes, when ordering online you will be asked to provide the recipient's email address and create an online account for the attendee.

  • Are there technical requirements for download and use of a Downloadable Course?

All you need is a device with access to the internet to download your course. Our courses are compatible with all standard PC or Mac media players and the following mobile devices: iPad, iPhone, Windows devices, and Android devices.

  • How long will it take to download a Downloadable Course?

The file download is 'streamed' for technical efficiency and speed during the download. Variables such as your computer system, internet connection speed, and the size of the document being downloaded make each download time unique. A good way to monitor download progress is to watch the status bar.

  • I purchased a Downloadable Course, how do I access it?

Click Log In at the top of the page to access your account. You will be prompted to log in using your email address and password. Once in your account, scroll down the page to the My OnDemand & Downloads section. Select the Downloadable Course by clicking on the product title or the View Details button to navigate to the program launch page. To download the reference materials, click Course Book (PDF) under the My Course Materials section. To begin your program, click the Download Now button. At this point the file will begin downloading to your device, where it can then be watched using any compatible media player. For Windows users, the file will usually save to your 'Downloads' folder by default.

Please save a copy of these files to your computer for unlimited future access. Course access will expire 6 months after the product was first made available to you.

  • How do I save a copy of the Download that I purchased to my computer for future reference?

Click the [Download Now] button on the Course Details page to download the media file to your computer. To download the PDF course book file, simply click the Course Book (PDF) link under "My Course Materials" on the Course Details page. The PDF course book will now be saved to your computer.

  • Are Downloadable Courses accredited for CLE?

Accreditation varies by state. View MCLE Information by State for detailed credit requirements.

  • How do I receive credit for a Downloadable Course?

Listen or watch for the letter codes that will be given during the program. You will want to write these codes down as your accrediting agency may require them as proof of course completion. Once you have completed the program, you must submit your credit request. This can be done by either returning to the program page where you joined the program, or by visiting the Request Credit page in My Account and finding your course after it has concluded. At either location, just click the link to Request Credit and you will be taken to the credit request form, where you will be asked to complete a program evaluation, select your credit, and provide the letter codes if required by your credit agency. Depending on your accrediting agency requirements, either we will submit the credit on your behalf or we will provide you with the information that you need for self-reporting. If you've already submitted a credit request and want to review it, visit the Submitted Credit Requests page, where you can review all previous credit requests. For more information on credit, visit Continuing Education Credit FAQs.

  • There is no [Download Now] button on my Course Details page. What do I do?

The download link itself expires after 6 months of program access, therefore we recommend that you save your copy for unlimited future reference. If you did not save a copy of the Download that you purchased and the link has expired, please contact our Customer Service Department at 877-624-7707.
