  • What is a Seminar?

    A Seminar is in-person training. The classroom setting allows networking and direct interaction with faculty. Content is tailored to the state it is held in. Browse a list of upcoming Seminars.

  • How late can I register for a Seminar?

    You may register at the door; however, pre-registration is encouraged. If you need to register at the door, we recommend you call us first to confirm availability and any schedule or location changes. Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-930-6182 with any questions.

  • What are my payment options?

    We accept Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover), Check or a Purchase Order. Please call our Customer Service Department at 800-930-6182 with any questions.

  • Is hardship tuition available?

    We offer hardship tuition for select states, please submit a request in writing to our Tuition Discount Committee via e-mail to customerservice@nbi-sems.com.

  • Will I receive course materials?

    You will receive a comprehensive course reference manual specific to the Seminar you are attending. The reference manual is written by the Seminar presenters and serves as a valuable reference for you during and after the program. There is space for note taking and each manual is bound so storage after the Seminar is neat and convenient.

  • Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

    Yes, you will receive a detailed confirmation email.

  • How will I be notified of any changes to my scheduled Seminar?

    If there are any changes to the Seminar you are scheduled to attend, you will be notified by email and/or phone as soon as possible.

  • Are lunch and parking accommodations included?

    Unless otherwise noted, lunch and parking are on your own. For your convenience, we select locations for our Seminars that have dining establishments within the facility or nearby. To obtain directions and parking information please contact the facility associated with the Seminar you are interested in.

  • What should I wear?

    Business casual attire is appropriate. We recommend that you bring a light sweater or a jacket for extra comfort.

  • How do I obtain proof/verification of my participation?

    You will receive a certificate of attendance and reporting information at the conclusion of the Seminar.

  • How will my continuing education credits be reported?

    Depending on your accrediting agency requirements, we will submit your credits or will provide you with the information you need to report your own. Detailed credit submission instructions will be given at the Seminar.

  • I need special accommodations. What do I do?

    We take pride in meeting the individual needs of all Seminar participants. Please register early and contact our Customer Service Department at 800-930-6182.

  • What if I need to cancel my registration?

    We understand that plans change. If you find you can no longer attend a program please contact our Customer Service Department. We'd be happy to assist you by transferring your registration to a colleague, setting up a credit for a different NBI event, or sending you the manual and audio recording of the event.   • What if I attend but am not satisfied with the program?

    If you aren't satisfied with a Seminar, call or write us, within 60 days of program attendance, and we'll make it right. View Returns & Cancellations for our satisfaction guarantee.

  • How long is each Seminar?

    Seminar duration varies by course. The start and end time for each course can be found on our website.

  • How do I know if a course qualifies for Continuing Education credit?

    Continuing Education credit information will be listed with the program details. A detailed list of available credit can be found under the "Credit" tab. For questions regarding credit, please contact us at 866-240-1890.

  • Can I record the Seminar?

    No, if you'd like to purchase a copy after the Seminar has been held they will be available for purchase. 

  • How can I be notified about upcoming Seminars in my area?

    Get News & Updates to be notified about upcoming events and receive the latest updates from NBI. 

  • Are multiple attendee discounts available?

    Yes, the more people you bring from your organization, the more you save. After the first registration, each additional attendee receives $10 off their total tuition.

  • What happens if my Seminar is cancelled?

    In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email or phone (oftentimes both).  Outreach to attendees commences as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
