He is a member of the Illinois State and American (member, Tort & Insurance Practice Section and Workers' Compensation Committee, Labor and Employment Law Section) bar associations, The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Gallen also is a fellow of the College of Workers’ Compensation Attorneys and a member of its Board of Directors. He earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from Saint Louis University. Mr. Gallen lectures frequently, on both a local and national basis, for various professional groups on workers' compensation topics.
