MODERATOR - WENDELYN K. WALBERG is the managing shareholder of Walberg Allan, PLLC, in Centennial, Colorado. She practices primarily in the area of insurance claims and appeals. Ms. Walberg's practice currently emphasizes analysis of insurance coverage and duty to defense analysis, insurance fraud investigation, insurance claims consulting, and declaratory actions. She has served as counsel for the Rocky Mountain Association of Special Investigation Units since 2002; and is recognized as a specialist in assisting insurance carriers with claims investigation, examinations under oath and coverage evaluations. Ms. Walberg speaks regularly for the International Association of Special Investigation Units, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, National Business Institute and local insurance carriers on topics ranging from insurance investigations and bad faith to uninsured motorist laws and insurance coverage. Ms. Walberg also is the author of "New Uninsured Motorist Legislation Changes the Rules," published in The Colorado Lawyer, Sept. 2008. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Colorado at Boulder; and earned her J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Denver College of Law.
