JOHN D. DARLING is a shareholder in the law firm of Hunt Ortmann Palffy Nieves Darling & Mah, Inc. Mr. Darling is an effective senior commercial litigator with a nationwide practice focused on the resolution of construction and commercial real estate conflicts, and on complex business litigation across numerous industry groups and business sectors. Mr. Darling has successfully represented large and small business entities, business owners and operators, construction companies, independent contractors and sub-contractors, financial institutions, and real estate investors and their affiliates. A seasoned courtroom veteran, Mr. Darling has tried more than 100 cases throughout California and the United States. He regularly keynotes seminars and lectures on construction law topics for the Western Council of Construction Consumers, the Associated General Contractors of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Southern California Contractors Association. He has served as chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Subsection on Construction Law. Mr. Darling received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico and his J.D. degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
ASHOD MOORADIAN was a former senior trial counsel with the State Bar of California for nearly 10 years and is the founder of the Law Office of Ashod Mooradian, a boutique practice focused on legal ethics, professional responsibility and state bar matter representation. Today, Mr. Mooradian is one of the leading experts in ethics in California and is sought after as a presenter by bar associations, agencies and law firms. He earned his B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and his J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law. Mr. Mooradian is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee, the American Bar Association’s Center on Professional Responsibility (CPR) and was the CPR’s Jeanne P. Gray Diversity Scholarship recipient. He is also a member of several specialized bar associations focused on legal ethics and professional responsibility, including the Association of Discipline Defense Counsel and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Mr. Mooradian is admitted to the practice of law in California.
JENNIFER TUNG is an attorney at Hunt Ortmann Palffy Nieves Darling & Mah, Inc., where she focuses her practice on a broad array of matters, including breach of contract claims and construction litigation. Ms. Tung earned her B.A. degree from the University of California San Diego, her LL.M. degree from London School of Economics and also her J.D. degree from the University of Southern California. She is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council-Los Angeles Chapter Chinese American Construction Professionals and the Chinese American Construction Professionals. Ms. Tung is admitted to practice in California.
VICTOR L. WOLF is a partner with Best Best & Krieger LLP, where his main area of expertise is in construction law. Mr. Wolf handles a wide variety of matters including disputes involving contracts, title, real property, residential and commercial development, shareholder and partnership rights, partnership dissolution, special taxes and assessments, homeowners associations and construction. In addition, he established and is responsible for the special tax/assessment foreclosure team, and is also experienced in representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Wolf earned his B.A. degree from Stanford University and his J.D. degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law. He is admitted to practice in California.
