NATHAN R. BROWN is an attorney in the private client services department with Proskauer Rose LLP. He advises clients on a wide range of tax and estate planning matters, as well as estate and trust administration. Mr. Brown is experienced in implementing advanced estate planning techniques, including irrevocable insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, sales to defective grantor trusts, inter vivos qualified terminable interest property trusts, family limited partnerships, all aspects of estate and trust administration, and preparing federal estate tax returns. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the District of Columbia. Mr. Brown is a member of various professional organizations, such as the American Bar Association, Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and the Palm Beach Tax Institute. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from University of Southern Maine; followed by earning his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from University of Maine School of Law. ANDREW COMITER is a partner of the regional tax law firm of Comiter Singer Baseman & Braun LLP. The focus of his practice is federal taxation of partnerships, s-corporations, and limited liability companies; business transactions; income and estate tax planning; probate; and trust, estate and guardianship litigation. Mr. Comiter has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2009, and is a member of the Tax, Real Property, Probate & Trust Law, and Business Law sections of The Florida Bar. ANNÉ DESORMIER-CARTWRIGHT is an attorney and managing partner with Elder and Estate Planning Attorneys PA, and has practiced law since 1985. For 15 years, she focused on commercial trial work in state courts from Vero Beach to Miami and Florida Federal District courts in the commercial/corporate area, including construction defect and lien foreclosure; professional malpractice-legal and accounting malpractice; real estate disputes; banking; securities; collections; and landlord/tenant. Ms. Desormier-Cartwright also served as an assistant county attorney for the Palm Beach County Attorney’s Office. After leaving public office, she broadened her practice to include estate planning and administration; probate and trust administration and litigation; guardianships (contested and uncontested); mental health; and long term care planning, including Medicaid and Veterans Benefits. Ms. Descormier-Cartwright is a VA accredited attorney. She is co-owner of a full service title and escrow company called Sage Title and Escrow Services, Inc. HOWARD D. ROSEN is an attorney and certified public accountant practicing law in Miami, Florida, as a shareholder (partner) in the firm of Donlevy-Rosen & Rosen, P.A. Mr. Rosen served as an adjunct professor and lecturer at law at the University of Miami School of Law for twenty years. He was a guest lecturer at the University of Miami School of Business Administration, and is an internationally recognized authority and frequent lecturer on the subjects of asset protection, taxation, and estate planning.
