WILLIAM FINESTONE is a partner with Blank Rome LLP, in Los Angeles. Mr. Finestone concentrates his practice in the area of trusts and estates, with particular emphasis on estate and tax planning and estate and trust administration. He has more than 40 years of experience in the preparation of wills, revocable and irrevocable private trusts, charitable trusts, durable powers of attorney for financial and healthcare matters, and business succession planning. He advises his clients on estate and trust administration matters involving probate and non-probate procedures as well as the resolution of disputes involving wills and trusts. Mr. Finestone is a State Bar of California certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law, and a Los Angeles Superior Court alternative dispute resolution neutral. He is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a member of its Charitable Tax Planning and Exempt Organizations Committee, and a director of the ACTEC Foundation. Mr. Finestone earned his B.S., M.B.A., and J.D. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, California State Bar, Los Angeles County Bar, and Oregon State Bar Associations.
CHRISTOPHER P. YOUNG is certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is an attorney with The Alvarez Firm, with offices in Calabasas and Camarillo. Licensed in both California and Oregon, Mr. Young focuses his practice on estate planning, elder law, probate, trust administration, and related litigation. His expertise includes special needs trust planning and administration for those with a disabled beneficiary; conservatorships (and robust powers of attorney that can help avoid the need for conservatorship); Medi-Cal and Veterans Pension planning to address the high costs of long-term care; and other legal tools vital to ensuring that individuals and families are protected during a period of medical crisis or incapacity. A frequent speaker on estate and elder law matters, Mr. Young is accredited as an attorney by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He earned his undergraduate degree from Christendom College in Front Royal, Virginia, and his J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan.​
