DR. JAS G. BROOKS is a founding partner of Mazur & Brooks, A Professional Law Corporation. Dr. Brooks is a former physician and surgeon and is currently an attorney at law practicing in her area of expertise, medical malpractice. She is also an associate professor at Southern University and A&M College: Department of Biology Health & Sciences - Human Anatomy & Physiology and Department of Environmental Toxicology, Doctorate Program. Dr. Brooks is currently a member of Southern University and A&M College HBCU Coalition for Deepwater Horizon Response to the British Petroleum Initiative. Her primary practice area is in protecting the rights of injured individuals that have suffered professional medical malpractice, including wrongful death, amputations, birth injury, brain injury, burns, child death, dental malpractice, failure to diagnose, improper consent, nursing home injuries, paraplegia, prescription drug errors, and spinal cord injury. As a former trauma surgeon and current associate professor at Southern University, Dr. Brooks has an in depth knowledge of handling medical malpractice claims from both perspectives, as an attorney and as an expert. She received her medical degree from Des Moines University; her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix; and her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center. Dr. Brooks is currently a member of the American Bar Association and a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association (Health Law Section). She has lectured nationally at a number of professional symposiums sponsored by the American College of Surgeons and Southern University.
KIMBERLEY HYSON is an attorney with Kravitz, Schnitzer & Johnson. Ms. Hyson is an associate in the litigation practice group, working primarily in the commercial, insurance, real property, and consumer finance areas. She has extensive courtroom experience, representing clients in both federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration. Ms. Hyson also has experience in medical malpractice, transportation, insurance defense, and litigating bad faith claims. She received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Pepperdine University; and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law. Ms. Hyson is admitted to practice in Nevada, the United States District Court, District of Nevada and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
DAVID F. SAMPSON is the owner of the Law Office of David Sampson LLC, and is a certified specialist in personal injury law. His focus is on litigation and he often is associated as counsel to take cases to trial. Mr. Sampson has received numerous awards over the years recognizing his excellence as a practitioner and litigator. TIMOTHY R. TITOLO is an attorney with the Titolo Law Office where he specializes in catastrophic personal injury cases involving traumatic brain injury (TBI), neck, back and spinal cord injury, and other personal injury from car accidents, motorcycle accidents, and truck collisions. He has published several brain injury and litigation articles. Mr. Titolo is a frequent speaker for the Brain Injury Association and other brain injury organizations. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. Titolo is Secretary of the American Association of Justice Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group. He is past chair of the Inadequate Security Litigation Group. Mr. Titolo is an active member of AAJ's Interstate Trucking Litigation Group, Motorcycle Litigation Group, and Motor Vehicle, Premises Group. He is recognized as a Diplomat of the National College of Advocacy. Mr. Titolo earned his B.B.A. degree from Hofstra University and his J.D. degree from the University of Tulsa.
