STEVEN E. CLARK is a solo practitioner of Clark Firm PLLC. With more than 37 years in private practice, he focuses his practice on labor and employment law, while continuing to form business entities, handling myriad employment law issues, including audits, compliance, and the review and drafting company agreements and policies; and related litigation defense. Mr. Clark concentrates his practice on business formation, contractual agreements and advice, business and commercial litigation, employment and labor law, general civil litigation, healthcare, and construction. He has assisted business clients in the review and drafting of agreements, and the acquisition and sale of assets. He also has represented franchisors and franchisees and handled franchise litigation. Mr. Clark has lectured and written on subjects such as choice of business entity considerations, trade secrets, non-competition agreements, partnerships, construction law, employment law, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). He is also active in handling federal Department of Labor (DOL) and state (TWC) and health integrity/ZPIC audits/investigations of employers and small businesses, and defending related litigation. Mr. Clark is licensed to practice before U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, Federal Circuit, and all federal and state courts in Texas. He has been honored with inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers since 2011, and is lead counsel rated in business law. Mr. Clark authored a book on Texas employment law forms, and does an annual update for Texas employment law on employment law and the Family Medical Leave Act. He earned his B.A. degree and J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Houston.
JESSICA VITTORIO is the managing attorney of The Law Office of Jessica Vittorio, PLLC; an adjunct professor of business law; and host of a weekly business related podcast. She earned her B.A. degree from Southwestern University and her J.D. degree from Baylor Law School. Her practice is based in Dallas, Texas and focuses on providing startups and small business owners with the insight and experience they need to properly grow their business. Ms. Vittorio is active in the startup and entrepreneurial community throughout Texas, and regularly helps to advise companies on formation, fundraising, M&A, governance, and other daily operational issues. She is a strong believer that by understanding a company’s philosophy and values, she can empower her clients to establish and grow their business in ways that will enable future success. In addition to her work within the business community, Ms. Vittorio also serves on the board of various organizations, and is an active member of the Law Practice Management Committee of the State Bar of Texas.
