Mr. Burnett is the author of the Tax Management Portfolio entitled Timber Transactions (1st edition), and has served as a special tax advisor for Tax Management, Inc. He is listed in Best Lawyers in America® for corporate and tax law. Before entering private practice, Mr. Burnett was a trial attorney in the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice. DREW JENKINS is a partner with Gatehouse Law handling the firm's real estate, title, business planning, and international related projects. He oversees a joint venture title company that operates in Alabama and Georgia. Mr. Jenkins handles both residential and commercial real estate transactions, including SBA7a and 1031 transactions, as well as represents a Chinese immigration agency regarding their investors' denials of EB and L category immigration visas. He serves as counsel to firms ranging from shipping and logistics, real estate, and technology companies. Mr. Jenkins earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama and his J.D. degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.

SCOTT YEAGER is a sole practitioner with The Yeager Law Firm, P.C., where he focuses his practice in the areas of civil litigation, construction litigation, business formation, business litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, municipal law, estate planning, and probate.
