SAMUEL J. KAUFMAN is a partner with Owen & Owens PLC. He represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and real estate matters. Mr. Kaufman's commercial clients are in diverse industries, such as construction, transportation, automotive, title insurance, and banking. His personal representations include contract and business disputes, as well as transactional business matters. He is also of counsel for Buonassissi, Henning & Lash, P.C., a real estate boutique law firm located in Reston, Virginia. Mr. Rosen handles real estate matters and advises on real estate transactions. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School. Mr. Rosen is a member of the American and Maryland State bar associations, as well as the Bar Association of the District of Columbia (past chair, Real Estate Housing and Land Use Section). He is also licensed as an associate real estate broker in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
SAM WHITSON is a land surveyor with B.W. Smith and Associates. He has more than 40 years of experience in all fields of land surveying and 20 years as a professional. He serves the Northern Virginia area. Mr. Whitson gives lectures to real estate agents covering various aspects of land surveying and problem solving when title problems occur at the request of his settlement attorneys. He has also served as an expert witness in litigation cases in the Northern Virginia area.
MEREDITH L. YODER is a shareholder with the Richmond law firm of Parker, Pollard, Wilton & Peaden, P.C. His practice focuses on business litigation, real estate litigation, trust and estate litigation and general corporate law. Mr. Yoder represents insured lenders, insured owners and a number of title insurance companies in title defect and title insurance coverage litigation cases throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.
