"Real Estate Closings from Start to Finish" is an accredited program under the regulations of the Iowa Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education. It is planned that this program will provide a maximum of 6.0 hours of regular credit toward the mandatory continuing legal education requirements under the Iowa rule, including 1.0 hour of ethics credit.

JOHN F. FATINO is an attorney with Whitfield & Eddy, P.L.C. He is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry. In addition to advising clients and litigating construction and surety matters, Mr. Fatino is the coauthor of several articles on those topics. He also authors the Iowa chapter on Iowa lien laws in the Manual of Credit and Commercial Law, published by the National Association of Credit Management. Mr. Fatino is licensed to practice law in Iowa and Minnesota. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern districts of Iowa, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth circuits, and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Fatino received his B.A degree, cum laude, from Concordia College and his J.D. degree from Drake University Law School.
SUSAN M. HESS is a shareholder with Hammer Law Firm, PLC, where she practices in personal injury, business and corporate law, criminal defense, insurance, real property, and estates.
