J. DANIEL BARIAULT has more than 35 years of experience in all aspects of corporate and business law, with particular emphasis in tax, securities, antitrust, and regulated industries. Mr. Bariault has worked with many high-tech startups in all aspects of business formation, corporate governance, and business strategy. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at three universities teaching graduate business courses in finance, business development, securities and portfolio analysis, valuation analysis, and international marketing and management. Mr. Bariault represents marijuana producers, processors and retailers, investors, and service companies supporting the emerging marijuana industry in the state of Washington. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and numerous federal jurisdictions. He holds a master's in business sdministration and a master's in international management. He also earned a certificate in entrepreneurship from MIT. Mr. Bariault practiced law in both Taiwan and Puerto Rico. He has been a staunch supporter of marijuana legalization and his practice is limited almost exclusively to the cannabis industry.
MARK D. KIMBALL is the founding shareholder of MDK Law, a firm emphasizing corporate, commercial, and property law and consulting in matters involving federal and international taxation. Mr. Kimball is admitted to practice in Washington, New York and Texas. He is an adjunct professor of law at Eotvos Lorand and Masaryk universities in Europe and has served as a law school guest lecturer at Seattle University School of Law. Mr. Kimball has presented at conferences and continuing education events of the Escrow Association of Washington and the Washington State Bar Association; and at legal and political science academic conferences in the United States, Latin America and Europe. He is also engaged periodically as an expert witness in Superior Court cases involving limited liability companies and governance and member issues. Mr. Kimball earned his J.D. degree and LL.M. (Taxation) degree from the University of Washington and also holds an LL.M. degree, in transnational commercial practice, from Europe.
SEAN V. SMALL is an business litigation attorney with Lasher Holzapfel Sperry & Ebberson, PLLC. His practice focuses on business planning and the resolution of commercial litigation disputes. He has assisted clients in management, negotiation, and resolution of contractual, intellectual property, shareholder/owner dispute, real estate, and employment matters. Mr. Small is a member of the Washington State Bar Association (Litigation Section), King County Bar Association, American Bar Association and Washington Attorneys Assisting Community Organizations(WAACO). He earned his B.A. degree from St. Joseph's University and his J.D. degree from Seattle University School of Law.
