KEVIN T. HARDY is the managing member of Hardy Law Firm in Lexington. He assists clients with estate planning to ensure their wishes are carried out upon their death and probate matters to transfer property after the death of a loved one. Mr. Hardy advises small business owners on the formation, purchase, and sale of businesses. He has also represented buyers and sellers in real estate transactions and has served as a settlement agent and title insurance agent. Mr. Hardy has participated in the South Carolina Bar’s Ask-a-Lawyer program and the Young Lawyers Division’s Wills Clinics, where he volunteers his time preparing wills for law enforcement officers, fire fighters and EMTs. Mr. Hardy is a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar. He has been appointed to serve on the South Carolina Bar’s Technology Committee since its re-launch in 2018. He earned his B.A. degree from The University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
JOHN M. KIRK III is an attorney with Schaeffer Douglas Title, LLC, with offices in South Portland, Yarmouth and Topsham. Mr. Kirk earned his A.B. degree from Middlebury College, and his M.L.S. degree and J.D. degree from Vermont Law School. He is a frequent speaker on real estate and title insurance related issues to audiences ranging from attorneys, real estate brokers and mortgage professionals. Mr. Kirk is currently the chairman of the Title Standards Subcommittee of the Real Estate and Title Section of the Maine State Bar Association.
PATRICK LACSINA is the principal of Patrick O. Lacsina Law Offices, LLC. Mr. Lacsina concentrates his practice on creditors’ rights, commercial and residential foreclosure litigation, evictions, real estate transactions, collections, and bankruptcy litigation. Prior to starting Patrick O. Lacsina Law Offices, LLC, he represented major financial institutions as the managing attorney at of one of New Jersey’s largest default services law firms. Mr. Lacsina received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School-Newark and obtained his bachelor’s degree in information systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and California.
DUANE H. WUNSCH is vice president and Wisconsin state counsel for Fidelity National Title Group. He has more than 30 years of experience, including searching and examining titles, closing transactions, and handling title insurance claims. Mr. Wunsch is a member of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Wisconsin Land Title Association, and the State Bar of Wisconsin. He earned his B.A degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law.
