LEONARD DEUTCHMAN is a legal and technical consultant in the fields of digital forensics and electronic discovery, as well as a sole practitioner, in Philadelphia. From 2005 to 2018, he was general counsel and vice president for KLDiscovery, LLC: Legal and Technology Consulting, an electronic discovery, data hosting, managed review, digital forensics, and legal consulting firm with offices in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, and across the world. Being one of the founding four members of the company, when he retired from it, it had over 1,200 employees. He advises clients regarding both the legal and technical aspects of data preservation policies, electronic discovery obligations and how best to meet them, and digital forensic investigations. For well over ten years, Mr. Deutchman has authored the monthly column on digital forensics and electronic discovery, "GeekSpeak," in the Philadelphia Legal Intelligencer, a law.com periodical, and has provided numerous CLEs on electronic discovery and digital forensics through KLDiscovery, as well as for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the Philadelphia Bar Association, National Business Institute, the Department of Justice and other organizations. He created, and taught for over ten years, a digital forensics and electronic discovery curriculum for Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. Mr. Deutchman helped found and run KLDiscovery after 20 years as a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, the last seven as chief of the Economic Crime Unit, which he expanded to become the Economic and Cyber Crime Unit; that expansion entailed construction of a computer forensics laboratory and the training of over a dozen detectives and prosecutors. He has investigated and prosecuted virtually every kind of economic and computer crime as both an assistant district attorney and a specially appointed assistant U.S. attorney. Mr. Deutchman is one of the country's most sought-after teachers of investigators of computer crime and fraud, having helped to design, as well as having taught, several courses for the National and Pennsylvania District Attorney's associations, IACIS, and others. He has investigated and prosecuted numerous cases of trademark counterfeiting and has lectured on the subject as well. Mr. Deutchman also has written dozens of pieces of legislation, dealing with economic crime, computer crime, electronic surveillance, and other areas. He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and pursued his doctorate at the University of California-Berkeley before attending law school. Mr. Deutchman earned his J.D. degree from Rutgers-Newark School of Law.
BRIAN F. DUNSTONE is an attorney with Weber Gallagher in Philadelphia. Mr. Dunstone concentrates his practice on defending employers and insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters. He has experience representing insurance carriers, third-party administrators and insureds in workers’ compensation matters throughout Eastern/Southeastern Pennsylvania. He has extensive background in mediation, deposition and discovery, including numerous depositions of medical experts, claimants and employer fact witnesses. Mr. Dunstone received his B.S. degree from University of Scranton and his J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law.
BARRY M. KLAYMAN is a member of the commercial litigation and the bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring practice groups at Cozen O'Connor, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of civil and commercial litigation, fiduciary and corporate governance, and bankruptcy. He represents clients in many industries, including manufacturing, financial and professional services, software manufacturers, publishers, retailers, real estate developers and real estate brokers. Mr. Klayman has extensive jury trial experience. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. Mr. Klayman earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Columbia University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard University. He writes a monthly commentary for the online publication Delaware Business Court Insider.
