MARCOS A. BARBOSA is of counsel in the Kansas City office of Kutak Rock LLP. Mr. Barbosa has been involved in various areas of practice, with emphasis placed in the areas of product liability, general civil, and commercial litigation, as well as toxic tort litigation. He is admitted to the Supreme Court of Missouri, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, Supreme Court of Kansas, the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Mr. Barbosa is a member of the American, National, Kansas, Jackson County, and Kansas City Metropolitan bar associations; and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. He earned his B.A. degree from Mid-America Nazarene University and his J.D. degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. Mr. Barbosa is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish.
LEEANN JONES is a partner in the law firm Taylor English Duma LLP, where she is a member of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution group. Ms. Jones is a trial lawyer with 30 years of experience handling a wide variety of complex litigation matters in federal and state courts and arbitration proceedings, including business and commercial litigation, personal injury, and product liability defense, as well as class and collective actions. She is also qualified as a mediator, arbitrator and is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Ms. Jones is a member of the State Bar of Georgia (Dispute Resolution, General Practice & Trial Law, Product Liability, and Tort & Insurance Practice sections), the American Bar Association (Litigation and Torts and Insurance Practice sections), the Atlanta Bar Association (Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and Women in the Profession sections), and the Stonewall Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in Georgia; the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd, 6th and 11th circuits; the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle districts of Georgia; the Supreme Court of Georgia; and the Georgia Court of Appeals. Ms. Jones earned her A.B. and J.D. degrees, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
ROBERT J. KASIETA is the founder of Kasieta Legal Group, LLC, in Madison, Wisconsin. He is a certified civil pretrial and trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Kasieta practices in civil litigation, with an emphasis on plaintiff personal injury and employment cases, as well as commercial litigation. He has written and taught extensively in the areas of trial practice, personal injury law and insurance law, and is an instructor of trial practice at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mr. Kasieta is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and all Wisconsin courts. He is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, State Bar of Wisconsin, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Kasieta earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Northern Michigan University and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.
WILLIAM L. MORAN is a shareholder and director in the St. Paul law firm of HKM, where he practices in the areas of civil litigation, products liability, commercial litigation, insurance defense, and appellate law. Mr. Moran acts as national, regional and local trial counsel for a number of consumer and industrial product manufacturers. He has appeared in both state and federal trial and appellate courts throughout the United States, and has acted as lead counsel in complex class action litigation. Mr. Moran is a member of the Hennepin County and Federal bar associations, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, and the Defense Research Institute. He earned his B.S. degree, with honors, from St. John's University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law.
