MARK S. KARDOS is the principal in the Law Offices of Kardos & Goch, where he has litigated personal injury cases in Philadelphia for more than 42 years with several verdicts published in the Pennsylvania Jury Reporter and The Verdict (Publication of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association). Mr. Kardos was an adjunct professor of business and real estate law at Temple University for 12 years, and had a similar position at Bucks County Community College for three years. He has been a speaker at more than 50 seminars providing CLE credits, and topics have included defense and plaintiff perspectives on advanced trial techniques, UM/UIM law, medical malpractice and evaluation of wrongful death claims. Mr. Kardos has been selected by peers to be a mediator or sole arbitrator in more than 1800 cases. He also serves as a judge pro tem for the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. Mr. Kardos earned his B.S. degree from Millersville University and his J.D. degree from the University of Baltimore Law School.
CHRISTOPHER G. MAVROS is a shareholder with Zarwin, Baum, DeVito, Kaplan, Schaer & Toddy, P.C., where he practices complex civil litigation, both locally and throughout the United States. He routinely handles a wide array of catastrophic injury cases from inception through trial, primarily in the areas of construction, products liability, transportation and premises liability. He has represented a variety of companies in complex litigation, including the automotive, heavy equipment and insurance industries, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Mavros earned his B.A. degree from the University of California Santa Barbara and his J.D. degree from Villanova University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Mavros is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
JOSEPH WOLFSON is co-chair of Stevens & Lee’s Antitrust & Unfair Competition Group, and chair of the Intellectual Property Group. He concentrates his practice in corporate and complex litigation, including antitrust, trademark, trade secret, unfair competition and consumer fraud disputes. Mr. Wolfson has served as lead counsel representing clients in a wide variety of matters, including class actions and internal investigations. He has successfully tried numerous antitrust and intellectual property disputes to verdict including cases involving patent licensing, trade name infringement, trade dress infringement and the nation’s first outsourced E-911 emergency response system. Mr. Wolfson is a former state prosecutor for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. He was named to The Best Lawyers in America, 2013 and 2014 editions, in the area of commercial litigation. Mr. Wolfson earned his B.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law.
