ARTHUR E. FILLMORE II is a partner with AEGIS Professional Services where he focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, commercial transactions, securities law, capital formation, and international law. Within his 40 year career Mr. Fillmore has represented both privately held and publicly held companies, start-ups and small businesses in a variety of transactions. He is admitted to The Missouri Bar as well as the U.S. District Court, West District of Missouri, and the U.S. Tax Court. Mr. Fillmore earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He graduated Order of the Coif from the University Of Missouri Columbia School Of Law where he was managing editor and lead articles editor of the Missouri Law Review.
W. ROBERT GOLD is head of the AEGIS Chicago office. He has close to 25 years of experience in structuring and executing transactions on both his own behalf and for a wide variety of primarily middle-market enterprises in healthcare, technology, real estate development, manufacturing and intellectual property. His primary area of expertise involves tax-related issues with a concentration on structuring businesses and transactions utilizing partnerships and other flow-through entities. Mr. Gold's legal practice also has involved corporate advice including ownership-transition planning and governance, and the private placement and syndication of securities. He received his B.B.A. degree from University of Michigan - School of Business and earned his J.D. degree from Northwestern University College of Law.
SCOTT A. LEVINE is the founder and managing attorney for AEGIS Professional Services. Mr. Levine is also the chair of the firm’s securities practice. His practice is focused on advising a wide range of clients on SEC matters, securities transactions and corporate governance. Mr. Levine represents issuers, investment banks/financial intermediaries and investors in financing transactions, including public offerings and private placements of equity and debt securities. He is an accomplished speaker, speaking to businesspersons, lawyers and public officials on corporate, securities and employment law concerns and has presented workshops to management on business and employment litigation prevention techniques. Mr. Levine received his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa. He has taught in the graduate business programs of DeVry University, Webster University and the University of Phoenix. He has taught business law, entrepreneurship, negotiations, employment law and the legal, ethical and social dimensions of business. Mr. Levine is president of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Central Reform Congregation in the city of St. Louis, which was recently selected by Newsweek Magazine as one of America’s 25 Most Vibrant Congregations.
