MICHAEL A. BURGER is a partner with NC Planning where he is an essential part of our business planning and corporate law practice bringing to the table more than a decade’s worth of experience as a business attorney and commercial litigator. Mr. Burger earned his B.A. degree from the University of Maryland at College Park, College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, and his J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Mr. Burger is a member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Section and Litigation Section; North Carolina Bar Association, Business Law Section and Litigation Section; Wake County Bar Association; and the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Burger's law licenses and admissions consist of North Carolina State Bar and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
GREGORY S. CONNOR is the owner and principal with the Connor Law Group in Raleigh and of counsel to the Walls Law Firm, PLLC. Mr. Connor practices in the areas of business law, business litigation, estate planning, estate litigation, bankruptcy and estate litigation. He is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar; U.S. District Court, Middle and Eastern District of North Carolina; and the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Connor is a member of the Business Law and Employment Law sections of the North Carolina Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Boston College and his J.D. degree from Duke University School of Law.
HENRY KOPF III is a partner at Revolution Law, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate counsel services, business law, technology risk assessments, securities law, and international business transactions. Mr. Kopf was an associate at the Shanahan Law Group, a Raleigh-based firm specializing in complex business litigation matters, prior to founding Revolution Law in August 2014. Before embarking on his legal career Mr. Kopf co-founded businesses focused on development and commercialization of technology used for the filtration, purification and separation of liquids for biotechnology and pharmaceutical applications. This includes his work at NCSRT, Inc., where he served as both CEO and CBO. Prior to NCSRT, he served as Filter Modules Director at PTI Advanced Filtration, Inc., Oxnard, CA (a subsidiary of ESCO). Mr. Kopf is the inventor on four U.S. patents and corresponding international patents on the processing of biological fluids, improved infant formula, and optimization of filtration processes. He earned his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Virginia Tech; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Campbell University School of Law.
MICHAEL C. LORD is an attorney with Williams Mullen. Mr. Lord has represented management in employment law and related litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He also has extensive experience in OSHA matters through the representation of general industry, construction and agricultural employers. Mr. Lord is licensed to practice in North Carolina and is a member of the Labor and Litigation sections of both the North Carolina and American bar associations, and is a member of the Federal Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Washington & Lee University; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law.
