STEVEN FRANCKHAUSER is the senior director of HBK Energy and senior director of HBK's risk advisory & cyber security group and works out of both the Columbus and Pittsburgh offices. Mr. Franckhauser is an adjunct professor of law at the Duquesne University School of Law, where he instructs the business planning course, contributes to the Penn State extension programs on shale development, and is an adjunct professor at Penn State University's Beaver campus on privacy topics. He serves on various industry-related organizations boards, is a frequent lecturer and speaker on the economic development and opportunities provided by energy, and acts as a liaison between those inside the industry and those seeking entry. Mr. Franckhauser frequently presents to groups and business on issues of cyber security and related data security measures and best practices. He is a trained and experienced mediator and business counselor. Mr. Franckhauser earned his B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and J.D. degree from the Duquesne University School of Law.
JOSHUA JEWKES is an attorney with Gordon Law Group in Heber City, Utah. Mr. Jewkes began practicing law in 2002. He is admitted to practice in Utah, Georgia and Illinois and numerous federal courts. He focuses his practice on business and real estate litigation and trial work, although he also counsels institutional clients on commercial matters and occasionally closes business transactions. Mr. Jewkes acts as general counsel to several local businesses and enjoys solving complex legal problems for his clients. He is the former president of the Wasatch County Bar Association. Mr. Jewkes earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from J. Rueben Clark Law School at B.Y.U.
