Jennifer L Coulter is a partner at the firm of Townsend Allala, Coulter & Kludt, PLLC. She joined the firm in 2011, immediately after graduating from The University of Texas School of Law with honors. Ms. Coulter is the current El Paso Probate Bar President as well as being a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She practices exclusively in the field of elder law, focusing on Medicaid planning, Medicaid Estate Recovery Program avoidance and defense, estate planning, and probate. It is her nursing home Medicaid cases that are her driving passion, though. Ms. Coulter earned her undergraduate degree and J.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

Lee Craig is a sole practitioner with Law Office of Lee Craig in Richardson, Texas, where she concentrates in trusts and estates, elder law, Medicaid planning, contracts, wills, probate, business law, estate planning, and guardianship. Ms. Craig has lectured to professionals and civic organizations on elder law, Medicaid eligibility, asset protection, and estate planning for elders. She earned her B.F.A. degree from North Texas State University and her J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University. Ms. Craig is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Property, Wills, Trusts and Probate sections) and the College of the State Bar of Texas.

William R Hayes is a partner in the law firm of Hayes & Wilson, PLLC. He is a frequent speaker on estate planning, wills and trusts, probate, charitable gifting, disability planning, elder law, and Medicaid. Mr. Hayes has served the Houston Bar Association as co-chair of the Elder Law Committee and chair of the Fee Dispute Committee, for which he was honored with the HBA Presidents Award. He is board certified in estate planning and probate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston and American bar associations, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Houston Estate and Financial Forum, the Houston Business and Estate Planning Council, Attorneys in Tax and Probate, the Disability and Elder Law Attorneys Association, and the Houston Gerontological Society. Mr. Hayes earned his B.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the Southern Methodist University.

Vaughn E James is the Judge Robert H. Bean Professor at Texas Tech University School of Law where he teaches, inter alia, Elder Law, Wills and Trusts, Income Taxation, and International Taxation. He is admitted to practice in Texas and New York, and before the United States Tax Court and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and maintains an active law practice. Professor James is a former director of the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at Texas Tech University, and is a Registered Tax Return Preparer. An avid researcher and writer, his publications include: Texas Elder Law, 2021-2023 Edition (Fastcase, 2021); Texas Elder Law, 2020 Edition (Fastcase, 2020); Elder Law: Cases And Materials, First Edition (Esquire Books, 2019); Texas Elder Law, 2018 Edition, (ALM, 2017); Planning for Incapacity: Helping Clients Prepare for Potential Future Health Crises, 9 Est.
