TARA GASCHLER SALINAS is a founding and managing member of Salinas Law Group LLC, a Denver, Colorado law firm specializing in complex Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, bankruptcy litigation and appeals. Ms. Salinas has served as the vice-chairman of the Bankruptcy Local Rules Committee for the District of Colorado. She has also served as a member of two merit selection panels for the 10th Circuit, evaluating candidates for bankruptcy judicial positions in the District of Colorado. Ms. Salinas graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law. She is a regular panelist for local, regional, and national seminars.
CECILIA LEE practices all aspects of bankruptcy law with her partner, Elizabeth High, Esq., at Lee High, Ltd., in Reno, Nevada. She is certified as a business bankruptcy specialist by the American Board of Certification and has been recognized as a business bankruptcy specialist in the state of Nevada since 2002. Ms. Lee practices in the areas of bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, appellate, and restructuring law. In 2015, she joined the law faculty as an adjunct professor of debtor/creditor and Chapter 11 restructuring law at Willamette University College of Law. In addition, she publishes and lectures on various aspects of business and consumer bankruptcy law. As a member of the ABI Consumer Bankruptcy Committee, she was honored with the Committee of the Year Award for work done in 2015 and recognized in the June 2016 issue of the ABI Journal. Ms. Lee earned her B.A. degree, with honors, from Swarthmore College; her M.S. degree from the University of Oregon; and her J.D. degree from Willamette University College of Law. Ms. Lee is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, and the state and federal courts in Nevada and Oregon.
RONALD S. WEISS is a partner in the Kansas City law firm of Berman, DeLeve, Kuchan & Chapman, L.C. He practices in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Mr. Weiss wrote the chapter on general executions in The Missouri Bar Handbook and Attachments on Debtor/Creditors' Rights, and the chapter on bankruptcy in The Missouri Bar Practical Skills Handbook. He also is a contributing writer to The Missouri Bar Bankruptcy Practice Handbook. Mr. Weiss has been a lecturer for The Missouri Bar seminars and for the National Association of Credit Management in the Kansas City Bar Young Lawyers Trial Practice Program. He has served as chair of the Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Weiss is a member of The Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Commercial Law League of America and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Missouri.
