JENNA C. SPATZ is an attorney with Leichter Leichter-Markoko LLP, where she practices in the areas of family law, child custody, visitation, and entertainment law. Ms. Spatz is a certified family law specialist certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She is also qualified and has been appointed by several courts to serve as minor’s counsel to represent children in high conflict custody and visitation matters. Ms. Spatz is a member of the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Beverly Hills Bar Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. She earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Southern California and her J.D. degree is from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles.
GARY R. STENZEL has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and speech. He completed a Masters program in child psychology and family relations, and taught undergraduate classes in psychology and family relations at two universities before earning his Juris Doctorate degree from Gonzaga University. In April 1995, Mr. Stenzel joined Michael P. Price, to form Stenzel and Price, Attorneys at Law. After eight years, his partner was appointed a superior court judge so he formed the Stenzel Law Office. That office has six employees and specializes in litigation issues dealing primarily with family law matters. Mr. Stenzel has more than 26 years of experience as a family law attorney in Spokane, and has another 10 years of experience in family psychology, or as a therapist. He is a certified mediator, was an original member of the Spokane County Superior Court Guardian Ad Litem Committee, and assisted in drafting the local rules regarding the GAL ethics issues and the mandatory parent education program for domestic litigants. He has taught at the People's Law School at Gonzaga University, and as a visiting instructor in domestic law at that same law school. From 2001 to 2012, Mr. Stenzel has presented over ten CLE presentations regarding family law litigation in Washington for National Business Institute. Mr. Stenzel has argued cases in the Federal District Court, Eastern District of Washington; Bankruptcy Court; Idaho Supreme Court (as an intern); Oregon Circuit Court; and Washington Court of Appeals. He has participated in more than 200 family law trials, has litigated a number of civil business and real property cases, and argued thousands of motions. Mr. Stenzel practices in all eastern Washington counties.
