JOSHUA J. HOROWITZ is the founder of Horowitz Tech Law, P.C., where his national practice is concentrated on litigating technologically complex criminal and civil cases. He has since become recognized as a leader in litigating technologically complex matters and defending cybercrime cases. Mr. Horowitz has extensive experience counseling clients in technologically complex legal matters ranging from major federal cybercrime cases to investigations involving the Internet Bureau of the New York State Attorney General. He also has extensive experience litigating civil breach of contract actions relating to the theft of proprietary and confidential information, as well as matters relating to internet defamation and identification. Mr. Horowitz is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Rochester and his J.D. degree from Ohio Northern University, Pettit College of Law.
JACOB MALATESTA is a shareholder with Hagwood and Tipton. Mr. Malatesta is a litigator with the bulk of his experience in medical malpractice claims against both hospitals and individual physicians, civil rights claims against governmental entities and their contractors, general liability claims, and extra-contractual liability claims directly against insurers. His appellate practice includes numerous victories based on both procedural and substantive law. Mr. Malatesta earned his B.A. degree from the University of Mississippi and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi Law School.
