Speaker bio
Stephanie L. Teaford
is an attorney with Dickinson Wright PLLC. She provides support to educational institutions, including community schools, private schools and career technical schools. Ms. Teaford is a member of the Education Law Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. She earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from American University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law.

Erin Aronson
is a shareholder with Eastburn & Gray PC in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. She handles employment matters on behalf of both employers and employees, including claims of workplace discrimination on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, or disability, which arise under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (PHRA). In addition, Ms. Aronson advises clients regarding issues related to the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and Wage Payment, and Collection Law. She regularly negotiates and prepares employment contracts and severance agreements on behalf of both employers and employees. Ms. Aronson is a member of the education and school law practice group, in which she advises clients regarding a wide array of issues, including school discipline, students’ Constitutional rights, and special education matters under both Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Individuals with Disabilities in Education Act (IDEA). Additionally, she handles all aspects of special education due process hearings. Ms. Aronson also advises clients regarding the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, and has successfully argued on appeal before the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Bucks County Bar Association (Women's Lawyer Division and the Young Lawyers Division, member). Ms. Aronson earned her B.A. degree from University of Delaware and her J,D. degree, cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law.

Arla D. Cahill
is an attorney with Mandelbaum Barrett PC, where she is a member of the firm's litigation, education law, and special needs practice groups. In addition to her recognition in and out of the courtroom handling complex litigation cases, Ms. Cahill has a passion for helping families. She chairs the firm's education law practice and co-chairs the special needs practice. As a seasoned litigator for over 26 years, and a former school board attorney and charter school board member, Ms. Cahill has gained unique insight into the public education system. She understands the challenges facing parents in the areas of special education; harassment, intimidation & bullying (HIB); student discipline; residency disputes; and religious exemption, among other education issues. Ms. Cahill earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from Montclair State University and her J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She serves as a President of Employment Horizons, Inc.. Ms. Cahill is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates, Inc. (COPAA) and Autism New Jersey. She is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York; Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey; U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit; U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York; and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Rachel M. Reight
is a partner with Baasten, McKinley & Co., L.P.A. She practices in the areas of labor and employment law, administrative law (State Employment Relations Board, Ohio Department of Education and Children Services Investigations), workers' compensation, and defense of teachers and associations. Ms. Reight is a frequent speaker at workshops for public educators, school employees and county developmental disabilities board employees in Cuyahoga, Lorain and Summit counties. She is a member of Ohio State and Stark County (Disputed Fee committee) bar associations. Ms. Reight earned her B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and her J.D. degree from the University of Toledo College of Law.
