G. MICHAEL CURTIN is a partner in the Akron law firm of Curtin & Curtin, LLP. His practice includes tort and business litigation, insurance coverage analysis, special investigative unit work and premise liability law. Mr. Curtin has tried more than 100 jury trials to a conclusion, argued in the Ohio Appellate Districts, Ohio Supreme Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys and the Ohio State and Akron bar associations. Mr. Curtin earned his B.S. degree from Georgetown University and his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University.
DAVID A. HERMAN is a member of the litigation team at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy Co., L.P.A. His practice involves all aspects of personal injury litigation, including negligent driving, medical mistakes, hazardous property conditions, aviation accidents, nursing home neglect, animal attacks, and defective products. Mr. Herman is currently managing the firm's automobile claims department. He is an adjunct professor at Kent State University where he teaches paralegal courses to undergraduate and graduate students. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, Ohio Association for Justice and the Ohio State Bar Association. TERRENCE J. KENNEALLY is an insurance defense attorney and the president of Terrence J. Kenneally & Associates Co. He practices over a wide geographic area of the state, with emphasis on trial litigation. In his career, Mr. Kenneally has tried more than 400 jury trials. He has written articles for Ohio Lawyer magazine titled, "Taking a Look at Animal Liability Law in Ohio" and "Dogged Liability." Mr. Kenneally is a frequent speaker at claim seminars and a lecturer on a variety of topics for CLE programs. He was recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer by Cincinnati Magazine. Mr. Kenneally has achieved board certification in civil trial advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is also a diplomat of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He earned his B.A. degree from Cleveland State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Akron. Mr. Kenneally is a member of the American, Ohio State, Cuyahoga County, Lorain County and Mahoning County bar associations; the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys; and the Cleveland Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.
RICHARD S. KOBLENTZ is an attorney with Koblentz & Penvose, LLC. Mr. Koblentz devotes the greatest portion of his practice to the area of professional responsibility which includes, but is not limited to, legal ethics, attorney discipline, bar admission representation, representation in the areas of attorney conflicts of interest, disqualification of counsel, law firm formations and dissolutions, legal malpractice representation as both plaintiff and defense counsel, and service as an expert witness. He also practices in the areas of complex and general civil litigation; criminal defense, both general and white collar; probate; real estate; small business counseling; and domestic relations. Mr. Koblentz has been a presenter, on well over 100 occasions, at continuing legal education seminars throughout the state of Ohio, as well as several other states on behalf of a number of government and judicial bodies, law schools, bar associations, and proprietary organizations. He has appeared as a guest lecturer teaching law students at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and the University of Akron Law School. Mr. Koblentz's service to the profession and legal education includes serving as president of the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association, acting as an officer of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, and membership on the Council of Visitors at California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. MATTHEW A. MOONEY is an attorney with Perantinides & Nolan, Co., L.P.A. in Akron. He is a graduate of the University of Akron, earning his Bachelor's Degree and his J.D. degree from the University of Akron School of Law, with Certificates in Litigation and Health Law. Mr. Mooney performed a Legal Externship with the in-house counsel of a major area health system, and also worked as a Research Assistant in the University of Akron School of Law Public Health Law and Science Center. He then served as a Law Clerk in a Plaintiff’s Litigation practice in Medina, and finally as a Legal Intern with Perantinides & Nolan, Co., L.P.A. for the final year of his legal studies. This unique background has fueled his commitment to service of those who have been injured in the healthcare setting, and equipped him with the training and experience to serve as an effective and diligent advocate. Mr. Mooney also maintains an avid interest in the representation of Whistleblowers and Relators in Qui Tam actions, which seek to recover money fraudulently billed to government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. JARRETT J. NORTHUP is a partner with the Cleveland law firm Jeffries, Kube, Forrest & Monteleone Co., L.P.A. His state and federal civil litigation practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting a broad spectrum of plaintiffs’ personal injury and employment law cases. GREGORY E. O'BRIEN is a partner in the law firm of Cavitch Familo & Durkin Co., LPA. Mr. O'Brien has extensive first and second chair trial experience in the defense of complex negligence, insurance, and business disputes in both state and federal court. WILLIAM J. PRICE is an attorney with Elk & Elk Co., Ltd. He is a seasoned trial attorney who focuses his practice on personal injury litigation for people who have been seriously injured or killed. Mr. Price's experience is in the fields of medical malpractice, nursing home neglect and defective products, negligence in construction sites, and trucking and auto accidents. In 2016 & 2017, Super Lawyers Magazine recognized him as one of the Top 50 Lawyers in Cleveland and he was included in the Top 100 Lawyers in Ohio.
