ERIC C. BOUGHMAN is a commercial litigation attorney whose practice encompasses a wide range of business disputes, corporate governance matters, real estate issues, and asset protection. He has represented clients ranging from multinational corporations to local business owners in all phases of the legal dispute process, including mediation, arbitration, administrative tax and licensing proceedings, trials, and appeals. Mr. Boughman has been admitted to practice law in Florida and Nevada, as well as before the U.S. Tax Court, and pro hac vice for particular matters in Illinois and Tennessee. In addition, he has counseled clients in transactions involving technology and real estate. Mr. Boughman began his law career as a litigator in Las Vegas with Nevada's largest law firm before being recruited to join a Florida-based international law firm. Prior to co-founding Forster Boughman & Lefkowitz, he was a partner with a well-respected central Florida law firm serving a wide variety of clients ranging from local entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Boughman has also served as general counsel to an off-shore technology company and regularly counsels tech companies, both domestic and international. He has also published articles and spoken publicly in the areas of asset protection and real estate law. Mr. Boughman is a member of The Florida Bar, State Bar of Nevada, and the U.S. Tax Court. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange and Seminole County bar associations, and the Central Florida Real Estate Attorneys Council. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School.
GARY A. FORSTER is the managing partner in the law firm of Forster Boughman & Lefkowitz, located in Orlando, Florida. He is an attorney practicing domestic and international asset protection, business, tax and estate planning law. Mr. Forster handles a variety of corporate and personal planning matters. His broad experience in domestic and international legal issues enables him to counsel businesses and individual clients regarding matters ranging from LLC and trust structuring to corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning. Mr. Forster is the author of Asset Protection for Professionals, Entrepreneurs & Investors, a guide to asset protection strategies for clients and their financial advisors. He writes and lectures frequently on the topics of asset protection, international tax and corporate law. Mr. Forster has designed and drafted hundreds of corporate documents and asset protection plans. Most recently, his suggested amendments were adopted as Section 43A of the new Nevis LLC Ordinance (Nevis Limited Liability Company (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015). Mr. Forster is a member of The Florida Bar, including bar sections for international and tax law, and the District of Columbia Bar, including bar sections for international and tax law. Mr. Forster is licensed to practice in the U.S. Tax Court and is a member of the American Bar Association Asset Protection Planning Committee. He earned his B.A. degree, cum laude, from Tufts University and his J.D. degree, with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law. Mr. Forster continued his studies as a graduate fellow at the University of Florida Masters of Taxation program, earning an L.L.M.
