TAMMY R. LAWLOR is a partner with the law firm of Miller & Milone, P.C., in Garden City, New York. She focuses her practice on elder law, health law, guardianship, estates, and trusts. Ms. Lawlor also assists clients to engage in Medicaid planning and files their community or chronic care Medicaid applications. She has handled hundreds of guardianships throughout the state of New York. Ms. Lawlor is well respected by the courts and receives various court appointments in Article 81 guardianship proceedings from numerous judges in the metropolitan area. She is an active member of the New York State Bar Association's Elder Law Section. Ms. Lawlor is on the Executive Committee for the New York State Bar Association, and is chair of the Health Care Issues Committee for the Elder Law Section. In addition, she is the Health Law Section liaison for the Elder Law Section, as well as a member of the Mental Health Committee and the Legislation Committee for the New York State Bar Association's Elder Law Section. Ms. Lawlor is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and New York NAELA. In addition, she is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association's Elder Law Committee and the New York City Committee on Legal Problems of the Aging. Ms. Lawlor is a frequent lecturer to fellow attorneys involving programs sponsored by the Hofstra University School of Law and the New York State, Nassau County, and New York City bar associations. She also has presented on a variety of topics to patients and clients at hospitals, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. Ms. Lawlor is a graduate of Hofstra University School of Law and also earned a Master of Business Administration degree in finance.
WALLACE R. NICHOLS is an attorney, author and financial advisor in which his practice consists of estate planning, VA pension planning, and elder law. Since 2011, Mr. Nichols has put his M.B.A. experience and legal knowledge to work for clients providing financial advisory services. She is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, San Fernando Valley Estate Planning Council and Southern California Council of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Patterson earned her B.S. degree from California State University-Fullerton and her J.D. degree from Western State University School of Law.
