LAUREN N. PEEBLES is an attorney with The Law Office of Lauren N. Peebles. Ms. Peebles has a diverse legal resume, including asbestos litigation, landlord-tenant law, personal injury, criminal defense, and civil litigation. However, it was not until she was appointed as successor trustee of her late grandmother’s estate that she dedicated herself to estate planning and probate. Ms. Peebles received the BWOPA/TILE HerStory Empowers Award for Economic Empowerment in 2016 and the Lawyers of Distinction award for Estate Planning (an award reserved for the top 10% of attorneys in the U.S.) in 2017. Ms. Peebles was accepted by Marquis Who’s Who, a network honoring individuals who have demonstrated leadership, excellence and longevity within their profession. She is admitted to practice law before all courts of the State of California. Ms. Peebles is a member of the State Bar of California's Trusts & Estates Section, the California Association of Black Lawyers, Black Women Lawyers of Northern California, and the East Bay Trusts & Estate Lawyers. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Alameda County Bar Association’s (ACBA) Trust & Estate Section. She received her B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley and earned her J.D. degree from University of Oregon School of Law.
