DR. STEVE BLANK is a certified structured settlement consultant and a certified Medicare secondary payer professional with BLANK Settlements, representing Structured Financial Associates. Dr. Blank began his career as a chiropractic physician, and continues to provide expert witness consulting services for complex liability cases involving orthopedic and neurological litigation. In addition to working in the medical-legal arena for more than 25 years, he was also provided with the opportunity to fulfill a second lifelong interest, working as a trader for a prestigious securities firm. He has provided medical-legal and financial settlement consulting services to law firms, carriers, and Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States. Dr. Blank is commonly engaged by both plaintiff and defense counsel, serving both liability and workers' comp claims. His dual backgrounds in healthcare and finance give him a unique perspective. Dr. Blank graduated from the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago with his B.S. degree in human biology and then his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He became a certified structured settlement consultant through training and the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business.
JASON J. BLISS is a partner with Aspey Watkins & Diesel, PLLC, where his practice areas include personal injury, construction, real estate, corporate and commercial litigation, civil litigation, and appeals. Mr. Bliss is admitted to practice in Arizona and before the U.S. District Court-District of Arizona. He is a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association (Construction and Litigation sections), State Bar of Arizona (Construction Law Manual (3d ed. 2015), contributing author), Sandra Day O’Connor Inn of Court (past president), Professional Liability Underwriting Society (vice co-chair, Southwest Chapter), and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. DR. PAUL D. FRIEDMAN is of counsel with Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh Jardine, PC. He practices in the areas of medical malpractice, significant personal injury and ethics matters. Dr. Friedman is admitted to practice in Arizona, Colorado (inactive), Washington D.C. (inactive), Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is board certified by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification in civil pretrial practice advocacy and civil trial advocacy (NBOTA). Dr. Friedman has been certified in injury and wrongful death litigation by the State Bar of Arizona since 1997. He is an associate with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Dr. Friedman is a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners® where he developed the curriculum and routinely teaches the Certified Forensic Consulting® certification course. He graduated with a B.A. degree from the University of Arizona. JONATHAN NEGRETTI is principal attorney of Negretti & Associates with offices in Phoenix, Arizona, Denver, Colorado and San Diego, California.
