LISA S. BROOK is an attorney with Michie Hamlett. Over the course of a 20-year career in civil litigation, Ms. Brook has helped clients in a wide variety of cases, including motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, wrongful death, permanent disability, and slip and fall. She has been an active member of the Virginia State Bar since 1993 and is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western districts of Virginia, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western districts of Virginia. Ms. Brook earned her B.A. degree from the University of Virginia and her J.D. degree from William and Mary Law School.
RICHARD M. REED is the managing partner with The Reed Law Firm, PLLC, where his current practice areas include personal injury, workers' compensation, liability defense and products liability matters. He has represented a wide range of clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses, including major retailers, insurance companies, construction contractors and an automobile manufacturer. Mr. Reed is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Prince William Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree from George Mason University and his J.D. degree from the Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law.
SUSAN RICHARDS SALEN is a shareholder and chair of the employment law practice group of Rees Broome, PC. Ms. Salen has been practicing law for more than 30 years. She represents clients in corporate and employment-related disputes in Virginia state courts of Fairfax County, Arlington County, Loudoun County and the city of Alexandria; and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division; and before federal and state agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and local employment and wage and hour commissions. Ms. Salen also represents clients in the state and federal courts of the District of Columbia and Maryland. In her corporate practice, she advises clients with respect to business formation issues, buy-sell agreements, and sales and purchase acquisition. Ms. Salen is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. She earned her B.A. degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. degree from George Washington University School of Law.
STEPHEN M. TERPAK is a partner with Sutter & Terpak, PLLC, where his practice focuses on plaintiff’s personal injury claims and other torts. Mr. Terpak is admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He earned his B.S. degree from the Mary Washington College and his J.D. degree from the George Mason University School of Law.
TARA L. TIGHE is a personal injury attorney in the Stafford, Virginia office of Allen Allen Allen & Allen. She has significant litigation experience in both jury and bench trials, and her strong desire to help others led her to become an attorney who fights for the rights of injured individuals. She strives to give every client the guidance and legal protection they need after an accident. Ms. Tighe’s practice is focused exclusively on personal injury cases, including car and motorcycle accidents, bicycle accidents, medical malpractice, slip and falls, mold inhalation and exposure, and wrongful death. She is fluent in Spanish and focuses on working with her Spanish-speaking clients to make the personal injury process easier to understand.
