DAVID KENNEDY HOUCK is an attorney at Ogg, Murphy & Perkosky P.C. Mr. Houck has spent his career representing clients in litigation for personal injury, products liability, medical malpractice, and criminal law. During his career he has won various awards, including Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2012. He graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 2005 and previously from University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in history. Mr. Houck is a member of various associations, including Allegheny County Bar Association, the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
GARY M. LANG is a senior partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Feldstein Grinberg Lang & McKee, P.C. He is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Lang is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer each year since 2005. Since 1992, he has co-written the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Civil Practice Manual, published by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute. Mr. Lang is a published author in his fields of practice, and a frequent lecturer on topics relating to civil procedure, personal injury, medical malpractice and ethics. He practices in the fields of professional negligence, personal injury and products liability litigation. Mr. Lang is a member and former governor of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, former chair of the Allegheny County Bench Bar Committee, former member of the Board of Governors of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, and a recipient of one of the foundation's pro bono awards. Additionally, he has been honored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association with two pro bono awards. In 2017, he was the recipient of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation’s Lifetime Pro Bono Achievement Award. Mr. Lang is a graduate of the College of William & Mary. He earned his J.D. degree from the Capital University School of Law.
RAY F. MIDDLEMAN is a partner at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC. He is a litigation attorney whose areas of practice include commercial and civil litigation. Mr. Middleman represents clients in trademark, products liability, medical malpractice defense, business torts, and civil litigation. He also represents several insurance carriers and has extensive experience in the area of transportation litigation, including matters before the Public Utility Commission. During his 32 year career, Mr. Middleman has tried approximately 50+ jury trials to verdict, 50-75 non-jury and administrative cases to verdict/decision, over 100 arbitrations, and mediated more than 20 cases to resolution. He earned his B.A. degree from Cornell University and his J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law. Mr. Middleman is a member of the Allegheny County and American bar associations, and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
JOHN E. QUINN is currently a partner in the Pittsburgh law firm of Quinn Logue, LLC. He served two years as an assistant disciplinary counsel with the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania from 1976 to 1978. Since that time, Mr. Quinn has practiced exclusively in civil litigation, including product liability, legal malpractice and general tort claims. He has been active in the Allegheny County Bar Association, serving as chair of the Lawyers Referral Committee and the Civil Litigation Section. Mr. Quinn is a past president of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He is a long time member of the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and is the past comptroller of that organization. Mr. Quinn is past president of the St. Thomas More Society. He is a member and served on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. Mr. Quinn has, for several years, been listed as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and can be found in The Best Lawyers in America. He has served as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at Duquesne University School of Law. Mr. Quinn has lectured extensively for the Allegheny County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice in the areas of insurance law, trial practice and ethics. He is a graduate of Duquesne University School of Law.
