HEATHER DESKINS is a managing member in Ohio Forensic Solutions, LLC. She is a certified public accountant, accredited in business valuation, certified in financial forensics, a certified fraud examiner, as well as a certified valuation analyst. Ms. Deskins has been involved in numerous valuations of closely held businesses for various reasons, including buy-sell agreements, dissenting shareholder actions, estate and probate matters, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and divorce. In litigation support services involving contested and collaborative divorces, Ms. Deskins works with attorneys and their clients to value, trace and help negotiate the division of marital assets. In addition to divorce-related litigation, she has assisted attorneys with lost profit and lost wage calculations, partnership disputes, and analyzing and reconstructing estate accountings. Ms. Deskins has testified multiple times in various Ohio Common Pleas courts and in depositions.
PETER A. RUSSELL is a sole practitioner with offices in Cleveland, Strongsville, and Chardon, Ohio. He focuses his practice on family law, bankruptcy, guardianship, foreclosure defense, probate, and estate planning law. Mr. Russell has served as an adjunct professor at Myers University on domestic relations and litigation, and teaches notary public classes at Polaris Education. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Mr. Russell earned his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Cleveland State University - Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
