MARLON L. BATES is a partner with Scalley Reading Bates Hansen & Rasmussen, P.C., in Salt Lake City, where his areas of practice include foreclosures, creditor bankruptcy, real estate, litigation and business contracts. He received a B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University and his J.D. degree from the National Law Center at George Washington University.
