ERNEST W. AUCIELLO JR. is a partner with Tucker Ellis LLP, who focuses on pharmaceutical litigation, medical malpractice, and long term care litigation. He has more than 30 years of experience in defending medical professionals, hospitals, and other medical institutions and product manufacturers. Throughout the past 20 years, Mr. Auciello has tried more than 50 civil jury trials as first-chair counsel. He has successfully managed a variety of litigation against product managers, employers, and healthcare providers, and has represented his clients before courts of all levels, administrative agencies, and in private arbitration. Mr. Auciello has lectured before both national and local organizations on risk management and litigation and the defense of medical malpractice. Mr. Auciello earned his B.S. degree, cum laude, from Bowling Green State University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Toledo College of Law. MARILENA DiSILVIO is a partner with Elk & Elk Co., Ltd. where her practice focuses on birth injuries, medical negligence and personal injury. Ms. DiSilvio is a former registered nurse, and her background and experience provide her an invaluable knowledge regarding medical malpractice and health care law. She is admitted to practice in Ohio, and before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Ohio and the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Women's Bar Association, Ohio Women's Bar Foundation (former president), Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, National Italian-American Bar Association, and the International Society of Barristers. Ms. DiSilvio earned her B.S.N. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
RICHARD S. KOBLENTZ is an attorney with Koblentz & Penvose, LLC. Mr. Koblentz devotes the greatest portion of his practice to the area of professional responsibility which includes, but is not limited to, legal ethics, attorney discipline, bar admission representation, representation in the areas of attorney conflicts of interest, disqualification of counsel, law firm formations and dissolutions, legal malpractice representation as both plaintiff and defense counsel, and service as an expert witness. He also practices in the areas of complex and general civil litigation; criminal defense, both general and white collar; probate; real estate; small business counseling; and domestic relations. Mr. Koblentz has been a presenter, on well over 100 occasions, at continuing legal education seminars throughout the state of Ohio, as well as several other states on behalf of a number of government and judicial bodies, law schools, bar associations, and proprietary organizations. He has appeared as a guest lecturer teaching law students at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and the University of Akron Law School. STACY A. STARCHER is a shareholder with Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, P.C., where she focuses her practice exclusively on the defense of health care providers, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, hospitals and other allied health professionals. She has defended allegations of medical negligence in the areas of radiology, emergency medicine, general surgery, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, oncology, and family and internal medicine. Ms. Starcher is board certified in trial advocacy and civil procedure by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. She also speaks and writes about issues related to medical negligence and risk management. ANTONIOS P. TSAROUHAS is an attorney in the Akron law firm of Perantinides & Nolan Co., L.P.A., where his practice concentrates on medical negligence, product liability, vehicular and premises liability, and intentional tort. He was board certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in 2005, re-certified in 2009, and in 2012 received his board certification in civil pretrial practice advocacy. He is a member of the Akron and American bar associations, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Ohio Association of Justice, and the Ohio State Bar Association.
