TAMMY KOESTER PARKS is the president of SVA Plumb Trust Company, LLC, in Madison, Wisconsin. Ms. Koester Parks has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of trusts and estates either as a trust officer or as an attorney in private practice. She is a regular speaker for National Business Institute, as well as various departments of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ms. Koester Parks is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Madison Estate Council. She is vice president and serves on the board of WCCN (Working Capital for Community Needs), as well as serving on the Planned Giving Committee of Agrace in Madison, Wisconsin. She is also a member of the Forum for Women Estate Counselors and Tempo International. Ms. Koester Parks earned her B.A. degree, cum laude, from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and her J.D. degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
PAUL M. SCHMIDT is a partner with Boardman & Clark LLP, in Madison, Wisconsin. Mr. Schmidt practices in the areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, and tax planning. He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Law School on the use of trusts in estate planning. He has also written several articles and presentations on trusts and estate law. Mr. Schmidt is a member of the Dane County and American bar associations, State Bar of Wisconsin, and The Florida Bar. Mr. Schmidt earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Valparaiso University; his M.S. degree from Drake University; and his J.D. degree from the University of Kansas.
