CATHERINE JOY is the principal accountant and president of Accede CPA Inc., with offices in Madison and Bayfield, Wisconsin. Her private practice works with nonprofit organizations and small businesses to improve their accounting systems, internal controls, and compliance systems. Ms. Joy also serves as the CFO for several nonprofit organizations. She has served as an adjunct professor at Cardinal Stritch University, School of Business, Madison Campus, and continues to lecture at college campuses in the Midwest. Ms. Joy earned her B.A. degree from Barnard College of Columbia University, her B.S. degree from Northland College, and her M.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
