KATIE BROWN is the acting associate dean for information resources at the Charleston School of Law. Ms. Brown’s research and scholarship is focused in the area of intellectual property, acting skills for lawyers, law and literature, management, and a variety of legal research related topics. She teaches advanced legal research courses, is a frequent guest lecturer in the law school classroom, and adjunct faculty for the Meinder School of Business, Master of Science in energy legal studies program. Ms. Brown received her MS(ILS) degree from Drexel University and her J.D. degree from Seattle University Law School. She is a very active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL). Ms. Brown has participated in a variety of leadership roles throughout the association chapters and special interest sections.
JACK R. LUELLEN is a principal of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, PC, and the location chair of the Denver office, where his practice is primarily dedicated to oil and gas law, with a particular emphasis on litigation. Mr. Luellen earned his B.S. degree, with distinction, from Colorado State University; and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School. Mr. Luellen is admitted to practice in California, Colorado, Utah, and North Dakota. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation and Energy Mineral Law Foundation.
