THOMAS E. BROWN is a partner with Gimbel Reilly Guerin & Brown LLP. His practice of law includes criminal law, products liability, white collar federal and state defense, and complex civil litigation. Mr. Brown served in the Milwaukee Public Defender's Office from 1974 to 1978, where he worked as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Wisconsin. He has served the legal community as the former chairman of the Criminal Law Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin and was accepted as a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. Mr. Brown is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Bar Association, the Seventh Circuit Bar Association, the Wisconsin Association of Trial Lawyers and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He earned his B.A. degree from Marquette University and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.
ROBERT J. KASIETA is the founder of Kasieta Legal Group, LLC, in Madison, Wisconsin. He is a certified civil pre-trial and trial specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Kasieta practices in civil litigation, with an emphasis on plaintiff personal injury and employment cases, as well as commercial litigation. He has written and taught extensively in the areas of trial practice, personal injury law and insurance law, and is an instructor of trial practice at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Mr. Kasieta is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit, and all Wisconsin courts. He is a member of the Dane County Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. Kasieta earned his B.S. degree, summa cum laude, from Northern Michigan University and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School.
DANIEL R. SHULMAN is a trial lawyer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who has been trying cases for the past 50 years. Mr. Shulman is now a trial attorney with the Minnesota ACLU. He has been chief counsel in antitrust and other complex commercial litigation involving major industries in a variety of cases ranging from data storage, media, food, oil and gasoline, airlines, consumer electronics, medical electronics, health care, thoroughbred horses, and many other areas. Mr. Shulman has also been counsel in trademark and patent infringement actions, and has an active pro bono civil rights practice. He continues to write and lecture extensively. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers; the International Academy of Trial Lawyers; the Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary Society; and the Nation’s Top One Percent, National Association of Distinguished Counsel. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and the Hennepin County Bar Association. Mr. Shulman has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, 1993-2019. He was named Minnesota Lawyer of the Year for 2102 and 2018. Mr. Shulman earned his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Harvard University; his master's degree from Yale University; and his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
