ERIC M. BEASLEY is a sole practitioner with the Law Office of Eric Beasley in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. He practices in the area of civil litigation, focusing on automobile injury cases. Mr. Beasley is a frequent lecturer for National Business Institute. He is an inductee for the National Order of Barristers, and he is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association for Justice. Mr. Beasley earned his B.S. degree from the University of Houston and his J.D. degree from Texas Tech School of Law.
LISA SMITH-BUTLER is an associate professor of law at the Charleston School of Law. Ms. Smith-Butler teaches classes on torts, children and the law, workplace privacy, and advanced legal research. She served as the assistant dean and director of the law library and technology center at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At Nova Southwestern, Ms. Smith-Butler served as an associate professor of law, teaching advanced legal research and juvenile law in the law program, and workplace privacy and technology in the master's degree employment law program. She also has served as the public services librarian at Georgia State University and as a librarian at a major Atlanta law firm. Ms. Smith-Butler has been in private law practice, and is licensed in Nebraska and Georgia. She is the coauthor and editor of Law Librarianship in the 21st Century. Ms. Smith-Butler is active in several local, regional and national law library associations. She taught advanced legal research, and children and the law. Ms. Smith-Butler earned her B.A. degree from Hasting College, her M.L.S. degree from Clark Atlanta University and her J.D. degree from Creighton University School of Law.
