Todd E. Gaudin leads the group at Gaudin Law Group, Inc., a boutique firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana focusing on select family and property projects. He has served the legal profession since August 1996, when he was hired to work for the First Circuit Court of Appeals three months after graduating from law school. Mr. Gaudin has experienced adoptions personally and professionally in at least 20 parishes and 16 states. He has advocated for clients in the foster care system to give them a voice and to get due recognition and fair treatment. Mr. Gaudin works with the Law Institute’s Children’s Code Committee and is a member of the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys. He has also lectured other attorneys and the public on topics related to Interdictions (i.e., adult guardianships), testaments, and successions. Mr. Gaudin is currently a member of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren and Knights of Columbus. He earned his B.S. degree from Louisiana State University and his J.D. degree from Southern University Law Center. Mr. Gaudin is licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
Arthur J. Travieso is the owner of Travieso Law Firm. He has been in practice over 29 years, and throughout his career has been a civil litigator and trial attorney, along with being a former criminal prosecutor. Mr. Travieso has tried hundreds of cases to verdict, including over 30 jury trials in both California State and Federal courts. He has successfully litigated matters involving business litigation, contractual disputes, premises liability, mold exposure, personal injury cases, trucking litigation, intellectual property, bankruptcy and real estate cases. Mr. Travieso also practices family law, with a particular focus on domestic violence cases, and high conflict divorce and paternity matters involving child custody and visitation issues. His background in criminal and civil litigation gives him unique advantages in dealing with the crossover issues often found in such cases. Mr. Travieso earned his Bachelor of Science in psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he received departmental honors. He received his Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law. Mr. Travieso is admitted to the State Bar of California, United States Supreme Court, United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Courts in the Central, Southern, and Eastern districts of California.
Mark West is a sole practitioner in San Gabriel, where he practices in plaintiff personal injury and wrongful death, products liability law, medical malpractice, and business civil litigation. Mr. West has published several articles and frequently lectures. He is admitted to practice in the Northern, Central and Southern U.S. District courts in California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, along with the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. West has also been admitted pro hac vice in the state and U.S. District Court for Nevada, and the U.S. District Court for Minnesota. He is a member of the American and Los Angeles County bar associations, State Bar of California, Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Consumer Attorneys of California (past legislative district coordinator), and the American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. West earned his B.S. degree from New Hampshire College (now Southern New Hampshire University) and his J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
