MATTHEW T. CHRISTENSEN is the managing member of the law firm of Angstman Johnson PLLC, where he has a civil litigation practice involving commercial law (finance and secured transactions), bankruptcy, real property, and business matters. He also has a transactional practice involving real estate, finance and business matters, including franchising. Mr. Christensen frequently represents bankruptcy trustees and other fiduciaries in recovering assets and administering estates. He also is an adjunct professor at the University of Idaho College of Law, where he teaches international trade/business, real estate transactions, and law practice management courses. Mr. Christensen is a member of the Idaho State Bar. He earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and his J.D. and LL.M. degrees from Duke University School of Law.
NATHAN DANG is a professional land surveyor with Accurate Surveying & Mapping, P.C., in Boise. Mr. Dang is licensed in Idaho and California. He started land surveying two decades ago in Fairplay, Colorado, where surveying at 10,000 feet+ elevations and working on diverse projects such as rural lot surveys, ski area boundaries, and 150-year-old mineral claims were just the sort of challenges that inspired him to pursue a lifelong career in land surveying. Mr. Dang has experience working in a mix of urban and rural environments, becoming an expert at topographic mapping, construction staking, boundary law, and the art of cartography. He is a past president of the Idaho Society of Professional Land Surveyors and was awarded the honor of Surveyor of the Year in 2015. He is a past Idaho governor of the Western Federation of Professional Land Surveyors. He is active in the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce and the land surveying member of Boise Valley Economic Partnership.
HEIDI HARTMAN is an Idaho native and is a senior advisory title officer for TitleOne Corporation, a title and escrow company located in Boise, Idaho. She has over 24 years of experience in the title industry. Starting her career in the Sun Valley area and then continuing in the Treasure Valley for the past thirteen years, her duties have included researching complex chains of title for both residential and commercial properties, managing title departments, training internally and externally, and advising title officers in branches throughout the state. Ms. Hartman is a past Advisory Board member for the Neighborhood Housing Association and is actively involved in many local charities.
HILARY S. VAUGHN is of counsel with the law firm of Holland & Hart LLP, where she focuses on commercial real estate development, land use, acquisitions and dispositions, due diligence and title review, commercial leasing, property exchanges, real estate finance and secured transactions, and rehabilitation and disposition of special assets. Ms. Vaughn has handled a wide variety of commercial real estate projects, including retail, office, medical office, hospitality, industrial, agricultural, mixed-use, multi-family, and investment properties, as well as master-planned developments and renewable energy projects. Her experience as an underwriter at a national title insurance company also makes her a helpful resource for resolving tough title issues. Ms. Vaughn is a member and former chair of the Real Property Section of the Idaho State Bar; former chair of the Legislative Committee of the Idaho Land Title Association; sits on the Advisory Board of the Urban Land Institute-Idaho; and is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Idaho Women Lawyers, and CREW Idaho (Commercial Real Estate Women/CREW Network). She received her B.A. degree from the College of Idaho and her J.D. degree from the University of Idaho College of Law.
