PAUL F. DRISCOLL is a member with Norman Hanson & DeTroy where he has vast experience as a commercial lawyer and represents real estate developers in both commercial and residential projects throughout the state of Maine. Mr. Driscoll is involved in project conception, acquisition, entity formation, financing, permitting, construction, sales, and occupancy and related land-use dispute resolution. He routinely appears before municipal planning boards, environmental agencies and regulators for clients throughout Maine. Mr. Driscoll has good and long-time working relationships with project engineers, surveyors, lenders, investors, and public relations specialists. Also, part of his practice is serving as retained counsel for several national title insurance carriers, defending insureds in title disputes through trial and appeal. Mr. Driscoll is admitted to practice in Maine and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and before the U.S. District Court, District of Maine; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, First Circuit. He is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, Cumberland County Bar Association, and Maine Bar Foundation (fellow). Mr. Driscoll earned his B.A. degree from the University of New Hampshire and J.D. degree from the University of Maine School of Law.
DAVID J. JONES is a director of the Kennebunk law firm of Jensen Baird Gardner & Henry, where he practices in the areas of real estate law, commercial law and foreclosure. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame and his J.D. degree from New York University School of Law. Mr. Jones has written and lectured on foreclosure issues. He is a member of the York County, Maine State and American bar associations.
JOHN M. KIRK III is an attorney with Schaeffer Douglas Title, LLC, with offices in South Portland, Yarmouth and Topsham. Mr. Kirk earned his A.B. degree from Middlebury College and his M.L.S. degree and J.D. degree from Vermont Law School. He is a frequent speaker on real estate and title insurance related issues to audiences ranging from attorneys, real estate brokers, and mortgage professionals. Mr. Kirk is currently the chairman of the Title Standards Subcommittee of the Real Estate and Title Section of the Maine State Bar Association.
