COURTNEY S. ADAMS is an attorney at Cabaniss, Johnston, Gardner, Dumas & O'Neal LLP, where her practice focuses on estates and trusts, including estate planning, estate administration, taxation, real estate, and corporate law. She has experience in a broad range of areas, including advising businesses on tax and corporate business formation, acquisitions, mergers, and dispositions, conducting residential real estate closings, and representing clients who invest in limited partnerships and limited liability companies that develop affordable housing projects using tax credits under Sections 42 and 47 of the Internal Revenue Code. Ms. Adams received her B.S. degree from the University of Alabama, her J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law, and her LL.M. degree in taxation from The University of Alabama School of Law. She is admitted to the Alabama State Bar.
