MICHELE E. BROOKE is the founding attorney of Brooke Law Group, in Pasadena, California. She has a wide range of legal experience in the commercial cannabis sector, including, but not limited to, litigation, real estate transactions, contract drafting, serving as corporate counsel, and assisting clients to obtain permits to conduct commercial cannabis businesses legally, under California law. Brooke Law Group is dedicated to serving California "cannabusiness" entrepreneurs. Ms. Brooke is a regular contributor to Marijuana Venture Magazine and her blog contains many published articles, as well as helpful in-house content. She is a member of the Pasadena Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, NORML.org, the National Cannabis Industry Association, Americans for Safe Access, The Esquire Network, and the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. She has taught cannabis business related continuing legal education programs for National Business Institute, The Seminar Group, Pincus, the San Fernando Bar Association, and Native Nation Events. Ms. Brooke also serves as a member of the advisory board for the Pasadena City College ABA certified Paralegal Program. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of La Verne after which she successfully completed the California State Bar Law Office Studies Program.
MICHAEL E. CINDRICH is the founder of the Law Offices of Michael E. Cindrich APC. Prior to working in private practice, Mr.Cindrich was a prosecutor for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office where he was lead counsel on dozens of misdemeanor and felony cases. Mr. Cindrich is respected in the marijuana community for both his role as a trial attorney as well as his role as an advocate for medical marijuana patients. He regularly gives presentations concerning California’s marijuana laws and the impact that marijuana prohibition has on society. Mr. Cindrich also currently serves as the executive director of San Diego County NORML and is a lifetime member of the national NORML Legal Committee. He earned his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of San Diego School of Law, and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego.
ABRAHAM FINBERG, MBA, CPA, is a tax expert for small business owners and nonprofit organizations. He has successfully represented various clients in IRS and Board of Equalization (Sales Tax) audits. Mr. Finberg’s professional passions include solving thorny tax issues for new and emerging industries. He earned his degree from Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business and Management.
S. EDWARD WICKER is the founder of E. Wicker Law Office, in San Diego.
