MARC H. BARDACK is co-chair of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLC’s CGL and business liability practice group, is the partner in charge of the firm's national transportation practice team, and leads the firm's 24/7 emergency response team. Mr. Bardack has substantial experience in the area of personal injury, medical malpractice, transportation, and insurance law. He has tried more than 35 cases to jury verdict. He also has argued several notable appellate cases involving standards of liability and damages under Georgia law. Mr. Bardack has been elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. In the transportation arena, he litigates cases arising from accidents involving personal and commercial vehicles, including trucking and motor coach cases. In the premises liability context, Mr. Bardack defends negligent security, liquor liability and slip and fall cases. Additionally, he handles all aspects of professional liability, including defense of medical negligence cases involving doctors, nurses and other medical providers. Mr. Bardack also has represented manufacturers in the defense of product liability cases nationwide. He is a graduate of the American University Washington College of Law, where he served on The American University Journal of International Law and Policy. Mr. Bardack earned his undergraduate degree from Lafayette College.
CHUCK CLAY is an attorney at Pratt Clay LLC, with an exclusive focus on personal injuries and civil disputes. Mr. Clay has national experience that includes litigating in 25 states and trying numerous multi-million dollar cases, including the case of a crane accident victim which returned a verdict of $44 million. He is currently a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Association of Justice, Litigation Counsel of America, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Atlanta Bar Association. In the past, Mr. Clay has also served as a mentor through the Georgia State Bar's program for beginning lawyers, and is a past member of the DRI and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association. He is a frequent lecturer and author on topics such as distracted driving claims, handling catastrophic injury claims, dram shop liability, children’s products liability in Georgia, Massachusetts, Montana and Nevada, jury trial strategy, deposition tactics and strategies, and premises liability claims. Mr. Clay graduated, with honors, from Furman University and the University of Georgia School of Law.
IRWIN M. ELLERIN is the founding partner in the Ellerin Law Firm, where he practices in the areas of personal injury, products liability, and medical malpractice. He has been practicing law for more than 40 years. Mr. Ellerin has lectured extensively on behalf of the American Trial Lawyers of America, The Institute of Continuing Education in Georgia and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association on various subjects, including medical negligence, failure to diagnose breast cancer, gastric bypass litigation, ethics, professionalism and HIPAA. He has published several articles on these subjects. He has also written numerous articles on breast cancer for the American Trial Lawyers Association (AAJ). Mr. Ellerin has participated in several national lectures on behalf of National Business Institute. He attended Atlanta's John Marshall Law School and earned his J.D. degree.
CHARLES HOFFECKER is an attorney with Ney Hoffecker Peacock & Hayle, LLC, where his practice focuses primarily on representing clients in employment litigation, contract litigation, commercial/business litigation and liability litigation. He has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts throughout the country. Mr. Hoffecker also regularly conducts arbitrations, mediations and appears in state and federal appellate courts on behalf of the firm's clients. Prior to forming Ney Hoffecker Peacock & Hayle, LLC, he practiced law at one of the Southeast's leading litigation firms and also served as an assistant attorney general in the Georgia Department of Law. Mr. Hoffecker is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern districts of Georgia. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Albion College and his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law.
