REBECCA A. BOWMAN is the principal of a certified woman-owned business that has been registered to provide engineering, real estate, legal, and training services with the Commonwealths of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, Allegheny County, PennDOT, New Jersey Transit, and Port Authority Transit of Allegheny County. She is experienced in employment law, boundary law issues, estate planning and administration, guardianship and conservatorship, engineering design and forensic analysis, construction/project management, dispute resolution, real estate, small business start-up, and nonprofit support. Ms. Bowman is a registered professional engineer. She is also a certified arbitrator and mediator. Ms. Bowman has been an adjunct professor at the Community College of Allegheny County, where she taught small business startups, and at Penn State, where she has taught CPA education seminars. Ms. Bowman is also a lecturer at California University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Bowman is a frequent CPE lecturer (law and engineering) for a variety of providers. She earned her B.S. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law, her M.B.A. degree from Oklahoma University, and her J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law. Ms. Bowman is involved with the National Society of Professional Engineers, American Arbitration Association, Institute for Christian Conciliation, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and the American Bar Association, and is a long-time columnist on risk management for the PE Reporter.
PATRICIA LEE is a partner in the law firm Hutchison & Steffen LLC, practicing primarily in business and commercial litigation, including, but not limited to, partnership/shareholder disputes, contract enforcement/defense, non-competition agreements, and commercial lease review and litigation, family law, trademark registration and litigation, collections, mechanic’s liens/foreclosures, and medical claims billing. She is the current president of the Las Vegas Chapter of the National Bar Association Foundation and was appointed by Governor Gibbons to serve as chair of the Nevada Crime Commission. Ms. Lee is currently on the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada and she was named Legal Aid's Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. She became the first Nevada attorney to receive the American Bar Association’s national Pro Bono Publico Award for her demonstrated outstanding commitment to volunteer legal services for the poor and disadvantaged. Ms. Lee currently serves as the president for the Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada and as a board member of the Women's Chamber of Commerce. She earned two B.A. degrees from the University of Southern California and her J.D. degree from George Washington University Law School.
DANIEL S. WELYTOK is a shareholder in the Milwaukee office of von Briesen & Roper, s.c., where he assists clients with tax issues, acquisitions and divestments, capital structuring, financing, corporate governance, information technology, licensing and distribution, regulatory and compliance issues, labor and employee benefits matters, and dispute resolution. He serves as chair of the firm’s opinion review committee. Mr. Welytok was appointed in 2018 by the U.S. Department of Treasury to serve on the Internal Revenue Service Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities, and has served on the American Bar Association’s Advisory Committee; articles editor for The Tax Lawyer; and chair of the ABA Tax Law Committee, Young Lawyers Division. He is also a past member of the State Bar of Wisconsin Tax Section Board of Directors and past chair of the TE/GE Council for the Great Lakes Area liaison with the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Welytok is an editorial board member and on the editorial staff of the TAXFAX column of The Cooperative Accountant. He has authored and edited various tax and law-related books, including the 2018 National Income Tax Workbook, Nonprofit Law & Governance for Dummies, Sarbanes-Oxley for Dummies and The Wisconsin Guide to Nonprofits.
