DAVID A. CAMPBELL is a partner with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, where he practices in the areas of employment litigation, labor and employee benefits law. He represents clients in federal courts across the country, in state courts, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). Mr. Campbell's experience includes negotiation of and compliance with collective bargaining agreements, defense of ERISA claims, enforcement of non-compete agreements, defense of class actions, and advising clients on employment issues, multi-employer benefit plans and issues relating to the Fair Credit Reporting Act. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cleveland Bar Association. Mr. Campbell has presented at seminars throughout the country on a variety of topics. The seminar forums include nationwide teleconferences, industry-wide conferences, and presentations before the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Campbell also serves as an adjunct professor at Wittenberg University. He earned his B.S. and B.A. degrees, cum laude, from The Ohio State University; and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law.
DR. GRETCHEN CARROLL is a professor, attorney, and president of Leadersrock, Ltd., a consulting firm specializing in leadership and management training and preventative litigation. In her preventative litigation practice she works with human resource departments, in a variety of organizations, conducting compliance training on various employment laws and issues including: Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, GINA, FLSA, OSHA, sexual harassment prevention, and retaliation. In her professional career she has served in a variety of capacities including: professor and dean of business at Owens Community College, professor of law and leadership at Tiffin University, senior manager of organization and talent development at Buckeye Broadband, law and ethics graduate faculty member in the Professional and Executive MBA programs at Bowling Green State University, and HRM trainer for St. Luke’s Hospital and Promedica. She earned her B.S. degree from Purdue University, her M.B.A. degree and J.D. degrees from the University of Toledo, and her Ed.D. degree from Bowling Green State University. She is also a Society of Human Resource Management senior certified professional and has been a speaker at several SHRM conferences. She has received numerous teaching awards including the ACBSP Teaching Excellence Award and State of Ohio Teacher of the Year. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Toledo Bar Association and Order of the Coif.
CHASTITY L. CHRISTY is an attorney with Lazzaro Law Firm, LLC, where she represents individual employees and groups of employees in wage and hour cases, collective actions, and class actions, including claims brought pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Ms. Christy has dedicated her more than 15 years of practice to representing employees in various discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour cases. She has litigated hundreds of cases on behalf of employees in various state and federal courts, as well as in arbitrations, in front of the Ohio State Personnel Board of Review, Ohio Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Ohio. She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association, Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, and the Cleveland Employment Lawyers Association. Ms. Christy earned her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
