CRAIG ALEXANDER is a partner in the Birmingham, Alabama office of Rumberger Kirk & Caldwell and has 36 years of experience as a civil litigation attorney. Mr. Alexander is admitted to practice in all courts in the state of Alabama, in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. In addition to his law practice, he is an adjunct law professor at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he teaches Alabama civil practice and procedure. Mr. Alexander’s practice includes the representation of attorneys in bar disciplinary matters and the counseling of bar applicants with potential character and fitness issues. He regularly speaks on the subject of legal ethics and professionalism, including during the mandatory professionalism course required of newly admitted members to the Alabama State Bar. He is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, the ABA Center for Professional Responsibility, the Defense Research Institute's Lawyers' Professionalism and Ethics Committee, and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association (district director and as a member of the Amicus Curiae Committee). Mr. Alexander earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his J.D. degree from the George Washington University National Law Center.
ROBERT L. GORHAM is the managing member of Gorham & Associates, LLC, in Birmingham, Alabama. Mr. Gorham focuses his practice primarily on issues involving trucking and automobile wreck litigation. He graduated with his B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee and he earned his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
ERIK HENINGER is an attorney with the firm of Heninger Garrison Davis LLC. The majority of his practice is devoted to representing individuals and businesses in civil litigation ranging from breach of contract to wrongful death. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, The Mississippi Bar, State Bar of Georgia, Birmingham Bar Association, American Bar Association, American Association of Justice and the Alabama Association of Justice. Mr. Heninger is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and serves on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Association of Justice. He also serves as a 10th Circuit Bar commissioner for the Alabama State Bar and on the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association. Mr. Heninger earned his undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College and his J.D. degree from Cumberland School of Law.
JOSEPH LEAVENS is an attorney with Balch & Bingham LLP, in their Birmingham, Alabama office. Mr. Leavens focuses his practice on joint use and pole attachment issues for utilities across the United States. He also has experience with products liability defense, construction disputes and insurance coverage analysis for both insurers and insureds. Mr. Leavens graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. degree and he earned his J.D. degree from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law.
