Adam Hobaugh a partner at the firm of Murtagh, Hobaugh & Cech, LLC where he concentrates his practice on representing labor unions in collective bargaining negotiations and arbitrations and representing employees in state and federal court litigation involving discrimination on the basis of age, gender, disability, retaliation, race, color, and national origin. He also has extensive experience representing employees in claims involving wrongful termination, the Family, and Medical Leave Act, and the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law. Mr. Hobaugh also represents small businesses and individuals with respect to employment agreements, non-competition agreements and employment handbooks. A member of the Pennsylvania, Allegheny County and Butler County bar associations, he is a frequent speaker on labor and employment law topics and has been a contributor to various Pennsylvania Bar Institute publications. Mr. Hobaugh received his J.D. degree from Duquesne University and his B.A. degree from Allegheny College.
Matthew B Jorden is a founding partner of Williams & Jorden law offices, where his practice focuses on plaintiff's personal injury, criminal defense and representation of licensed professionals in administrative proceedings. Mr. Jorden has handled complex litigation involving products liability, transportation accidents, and governmental liability. Additionally, he has defended clients in high profile cases prosecuted by the SEC and has had the opportunity to argue before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, California, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Jorden earned his B.A. degree from Allegheny College, and his J.D. degree from Thomas M. Cooley School of law where he graduated cum laude.
Ryan Mergl is a former prosecutor and trial attorney representing clients throughout Pennsylvania and in the United States federal courts, with a practice focused on criminal justice, injury, and disability. Mr. Mergl received his B.A. degree from Franklin & Marshall College and his J.D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, Mercer County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Association of American Trial Lawyers.
Deborah A Slezak is a principal with Cioffi Slezak Wildgrube PC. Ms. Slezak's practice is concentrated primarily in the areas of elder law, guardianship, estate planning and administration. During her 25+ years of practice, she has lectured on topics of elder law and estate planning for the NYS Bar Association, local bar associations, businesses and many community groups. Ms. Slezak is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Trust and Estates and Elder Law sections), and is a member of the Elder Law and Special Needs Law Section's Executive Committee. She is a member of the Schenectady County and Montgomery County bar associations, the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, co-chair of the SCBA's Trust and Estates and Elder Law Committee, and was the secretary of the board of the SCBA. In addition, she is a NY NAELA board member and former chair of the Webinar Committee. Ms. Slezak earned her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College and her J.D. degree from Albany Law School.
